The Society is organized and is operated for educational and scientific purposes and to promote and develop pharmacy or medically related education programs. In furtherance of these purposes, the Society shall, through appropriate mechanisms, further the practice of pharmacy within the Air Force and assist members in fulfilling continuing education requirements to achieve the highest standards of practice.
SAFP Certification Program Reimbursement
Further your professional knowledge! The Society of Air Force Pharmacy is now offering certificate program reimbursement for members! Programs considered include certificate programs or advanced intensive study programs.
1. Attend an accredited certificate program – pre-approved programs will be listed and updated at: [http://www.af-pharmacists.org/education.html]. If not listed, approval may be considered by a board member.
2. Email completion certificate, below form, and payment receipt to:
Treasurer, SAFP / 75 Sunrise Drive / Shalimar, FL 32579
3. Receive reimbursement* from the Society of Air Force Pharmacy for the cost of the program, in the form of a check mailed directly to the member.
* Maximum reimbursement is $200; must not be paid for or reimbursed by Air Force or employer. Only one scholarship granted per member per year. Applicants must be members in good standing, with membership for a minimum of one year.
